Paths

A great design feature linking the garden together

Year round access

Different materials to suit every budget

Our Paths:

A path can be made quickly and inexpensively giving you access to your garden without churning up the lawn. The picture below shows a path made out of compactable gravel known as a hoggin, which is a versatile inexpensive product.  Paths also look good when laid with flag stones, gravel or brick paviers to name just a few. A path can instantly change the way your garden is used, from subtle stepping stones in the lawn to a wide sweeping path.

The Benefits:

•    Unifies the garden.
•    A great way to incorporate different materials in your garden.
•    Leads you to secret areas of the garden.
•    All weather access.
•    Suits every budget.
•    Aromatic plants, such as thyme can be planted within a path.

How We Do It:

•    Excavate the area to the correct  level.
•    Make an edge out of a variety of materials.
•    Add a sub-base and compact it.
•    Lay hoggin or gravel.
•    Lay slabs onto a full bed of cement.
•    Join the slabs with jointing compound.

Does your garden require a path?
