Earth Day 2019 – Be Part of Walking The Equator

World Earth Day falls on 22nd April this year. There are different activities to get involved in throughout April to raise awareness of climate change, global destruction of habitats, plastic pollution and protection of nature’s endangered species.

In Bristol you can be part of a 24,901 mile walk/run challenge. 24,901 miles is the length of the equator. A minimum of 415 people are needed to walk a minimum of 2 miles per day for the month of April to beat this challenge.

It doesn’t matter your age, shape or size, get involved and show the powers that be what is important to you.
